Ivy and Karl are a very special couple and we loved being a part of their gorgeous wedding day!!
For their wedding in Waiheke, we designed a complete floral and styling portfolio.
Ivy wanted a classic, elagant, luxe, white and deep green theme with French and natural details. Abundant florals en masse a must!
Fragrance was very important for this couple so we used perfumed floral such as tuberoses, double cream freesias, white stock and blown David Austin roses to knock their socks off!!
To add to this we also used fresh herb plants in the tablescapes at the reception and in the floral throughout the venue.
For the church in Oneroa, we created 2 huge floral flags to hang as a backrop to the ceremony as well as a mass of floral in french style vessels and props on the altar and the entrance way.
At Mudbrick for the reception we created a 3 x 3 metre flower wall as a back drop for the photos for the evening and as a feature peice for the entrance to the dining area.
Wild garlands adorned the wine barrels outside, the seating chart and welcome sign.
A French style floral table was created with loads of white and fragrant flowers en masse, loads of candles, brown paper and twine for the guests to help themselves at the end of the evening instead of the traditional bonbonniere.
The guest tables were packed with floral, fragrant candles, fresh herb plants and neutral details including hessian runners and pine table numbers.
The head table had 4 x antique, low, silver, tins filled to the brim with white, luxe floral.
Thanks so much for sharing your day with us Ivy and Karl xxx
